AI Accelerator helps nine startups strengthen business models and attract investment

A new batch has started their journey in the Tehnopol AI Accelerator – nine startups with a shared goal: to develop AI-based products and services that increase their competitiveness and provide real added value to society.

The accelerator program supports companies with a dedicated training series focused on the practical aspects of implementing artificial intelligence. In addition, teams work with mentors and experts who assist them in both technical development and business model refinement. The program concludes with a demo day, where teams can present their solutions to experts and potential follow-on investors. The three teams with the greatest business potential will receive a development grant of €10,000.

Startups that are participating in the AI Accelerator:

Passer Systems is developing AI-Powered Inertial Navigation System to help UAV manufacturers to get accurate position when GNSS is denied.

Duotale is a screen-free language learning platform that helps parents and educators make the most of a child’s most receptive period for language acquisition. By creating a natural bilingual environment through storytelling, Duotale helps children learn a new language as naturally as their first.

Asvel is developing a self-driven robot that can automatically control an endoscopic camera during minimally invasive surgery. The idea was conceived by a team member, orthopedic surgeon Andres Šavel. Having performed surgeries for many years, he constantly realized how much easier and more precise it would be to operate with both hands at the same time. Today, surgeons must constantly hold and move the endoscopic camera with one hand in order to see the surgical field.

KULG is developing an AI running app for personalised training insights to help runners achieve sustainable progress. It collects training and recovery data from wearables, identifies individual patterns and long-term trends, and turns fragmented data into personalized training guidance.
