FAQ

  • How much time commitment does participation in the accelerator require?

The accelerator program lasts for 6 months, during which there are 6 different training sessions. The length of each training session varies depending on the topic and can range from 1 to 2 days. Attendance at these training sessions is mandatory for teams. Additionally, teams have 1-2 meetings per month with the mentors.

Once a month, there is a coffee morning meetup, where, in addition to networking, you can listen to inspiring presentations from successful startup entrepreneurs, investors, or other key figures in the startup world.

Furthermore, we expect that during the accelerator program, you are ready and motivated to actively work on your startup to take it to the next level!

  • Do you need to be in Estonia during the accelerator program?

The trainings of Startup Accelerator are mostly conducted in a workshop style and require active interaction and contribution from both the trainer and participants. Therefore, we highly recommend on-site participation for program attendees. It is important to emphasize that to participate in the accelerator, the startup must be registered in Estonia.

  • In what language are the accelerator training sessions?

The accelerator training sessions are mostly conducted in English.

  • What happens after the accelerator program ends?

After the 6-month period, participating companies have the option to extend the program for an additional 3-6 months. There will be an interim evaluation where we review the activities of the first 6 months with the lead mentor assigned to the startup, taking into account the company’s perspective.

We also ask the startup whether they want to continue in the extension program and what is their action plan for the next 6 months.
