Startup Story: Mobilable X Tehnopol Startup Incubator
Dozens of high-potential startups develop their products and services every year in the Tehnopol Startup Accelerator. One of them is Mobilable.
Mobilable is a platform designed for individuals and small businesses to easily create mobile apps without needing technical skills. The founders are Denis Lupookov, who has worked as a developer since the age of 17 in companies like Pipedrive, primarily coding in TypeScript, and Vadim Plăcintă (MSc in Robotics from TalTech), who worked as an embedded engineer in the automotive industry (Textron, Continental), mostly coding in Python and C.
Let’s get to know Mobilable better!
How did you come up with the idea to create a startup?
“We participated in the Entrepreneur First + Lovable hackathon, where we validated our idea and made our first pre-sale. The idea originated when we noticed a gap in similar “vibe coding” tools, which only offered website building. We were among the first to create a vibe coding tool specifically for native mobile app development in May 2025.”
What have been the biggest challenges/failures and the biggest wins so far?
“Initially, the technical side seemed too challenging, and the project required extensive development and testing before it was ready to produce high-quality apps. Our biggest wins include securing our first real client, who paid for the product, and some of them have already published their apps in app stores. We are also pleased that potential investors have approached us with proposals, even without us actively seeking them.”
What sets your startup apart from competitors?
“At the beginning, our platform could code better apps than some of our larger competitors. Today, we differentiate ourselves by offering the best technical support and an even more beginner-friendly chat interface. Our goal is to generate apps for users end-to-end, including publishing them to app stores.”
Why did you apply to the Startup Accelerator?
“Being accepted into Startup Accelerator validated our idea from an investor’s perspective. During the entrance interview, we presented our project to seven key mentors, all of whom were interested and asked many questions. The opportunity to spend 30 hours over six months talking with experienced investors and startup builders is invaluable.”
Where do you see your startup in 1 year? And where in 5 years?
“In one year, we see ourselves securing investments, hiring more staff, and possibly renting our own office (though still within Tehnopol). In five years, we aim to be an established and well-known tool for mobile development, used by indie developers and even agencies. We will likely go beyond vibe coding, offering something more unique and becoming more independent from an AI perspective.”
Who is the next (Estonian) unicorn?
“Frankenburg has potential because they build some of the cheapest missiles, which will be in high demand as drones and drone defense systems become central to military conflicts. We also see potential in Getmoss because their tool is something we would use ourselves.”
Which books/podcasts/publications and influencers in your field do you follow and would recommend to other aspiring entrepreneurs?
“Lex Fridman’s podcasts, featuring guests like Pavel Durov (creator of Telegram) and Brendan Eich (creator of JavaScript and the Brave search engine), help us understand how to think about product development. We also recommend “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. While it’s an old classic, its core idea – that achieving your goals requires strong faith – is well explained and still relevant.”
